■Laser beam delivery

Laser beam delivery components are suitable for applications such as: ・Highly efficient optical power coupling between two optical fibers (fiber to fiber coupler – FFC) - Branch and bend the laser beam to reach the work area and monitor the laser output (beam bender – BB or beam splitter – BS)

■Fiber to fiber coupler

FFC-R is a fiber-to-fiber coupler for efficiently coupling single or multiple wavelength laser beams to user fibers. The coupling design with a free-space lens ensures reliable and repeatable laser power delivery to the user fiber and thus to the work area. This device is suitable for coupling laser power into large core output fibers with an output fiber to input fiber core ratio of 1.5 or greater. In addition to efficient coupling from the primary light, the FFC-R coaxially couples a red aiming light laser diode (LD) to the user output fiber. The FFC-R can also be supplied without the red aiming beam (FFC). The same mechanical design as the coupler (FFC-660) can be used to efficiently couple Class III B laser diodes operating at 660nm.

■Beam bender/beam splitter

The Beam Bender (BB) series is capable of 90° angular displacement of the reflected beam with an effective aperture of 15.5mm. Reflectance (%R) > 98% with wavelength option. The Beam Splitter (BS) series provides 90° angular displacement of the reflected beam with a 10.0mm effective aperture, with minimal lateral displacement of the transmitted beam.

■The BB series and BS series have the following features.

-Independent orthogonal splitter adjustment allows for accurate and repeatable alignment ・Optical system can be removed and replaced without affecting alignment ・There are mounting holes on the front and sides. ・Sealed design ・Anodized aluminum structure
