Organic peroxides are generally considered derivatives of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). ■Features

It is an aliphatic diacyl peroxide, and has low-temperature activity and lower hydrogen abstraction ability than aromatic benzoyl peroxide. It is widely used as a polymerization initiator for various vinyl monomers such as vinyl chloride, AS, acrylic monomers, vinyl acetate, and MMA. It is also useful as a curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins suitable for FW and pultrusion molding at 60 to 100°C, and has the characteristic of reducing yellowing of molded products.
