Organic peroxide Hardening agent Peroxide Percure HB
NOF Corporation

About This Product

Organic peroxides are generally considered derivatives of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). In other words, it is a compound in which the hydrogen atom of H-O-O-H is replaced with an organic atomic group, and there are various peroxides that have different thermal decomposition characteristics by changing the organic atomic group. The chemical characteristics of organic peroxides are due to -O-O- bonds. Because it has -O-O- bonds with relatively low bond energy in its molecules, it decomposes thermally at relatively low temperatures or reacts with reducing substances to easily generate free radicals. I will. The properties of the generated free radicals include addition reactions to unsaturated double bonds and abstraction reactions of hydrogen, etc.

■Features

A curing agent for unsaturated polyester resins, which has a fast curing speed and low curing heat generation, allowing molded products with excellent appearance and physical properties (hardness, flexural modulus, and flexural strength) to be obtained.
