About This Product

■What is Pearl Ream?

Pearleem is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless hydrogenated polyisoptene manufactured using our proprietary advanced purification and deodorization technology. It is an oil-based cosmetic raw material that has been widely used in Japan and around the world for over 30 years. Pearleem complies with the 2006 Quasi-drug Ingredient Standards (Gaigenki) and is included in the Cosmetic Industry Association of America (CTFA)'s "International Cosmetic Ingredient Dictionary and Handbook" as "HYDROGENATED POLYISOBUTENE."

■Characteristics of Pearl Ream

・Pearl Ream is chemically inert and has high stability against light and oxidation. ・Pearl Ream is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and hypoallergenic. ・Pearl Reem contains almost no chlorine, sulfur, or other heavy metals. ・Pearleam has excellent compatibility with cosmetic raw materials, fragrances, pigments, and sanitary raw materials, and emulsifying properties. ・Pearl Ream is available in grades with different viscosities depending on the application. Therefore, it can be used in a wide range of applications as a base oil for cosmetics, from cleansing to lip makeup. ・Pearleam is manufactured by polymerizing isobutene obtained from naphtha decomposition, so it can be described as a non-mineral oil. ・Pearleam is suitable as a substitute for mineral-based liquid paraffin and squalane.

■Handling of Pearl Ream

・Technical measures: It is flammable and should be handled with care. ・Precautions: Although it is not toxic, it is viscous, so wear appropriate protective equipment. ・Safe handling precautions: Wear appropriate protective equipment (safety glasses, protective gloves, masks, etc.) when handling.

■Storage

・Appropriate storage conditions: Store indoors, avoiding direct sunlight and being careful not to get wet. ・Safe containers and packaging materials: Conform to the containers used in the product.
