About This Product

■METPOINT® PRM: Sensor technology for accurate pressure monitoring

METPOINT PRM pressure gauges measure the relative pressure (overpressure) of gaseous and liquid media and convert this measurement into a linear output signal. A pressure gauge converts physical pressure into an electrical signal proportional to pressure.

■Does your company need to reliably assess differential or system pressure?

SP11, SP21 and SP22 series pressure sensors provide accurate system monitoring. Measured values ​​form the basis for maintenance and optimization of production equipment. Therefore, accurate allocation of pressure creates opportunities for fact-based business-related economic decision-making. The various interfaces allow for problem-free integration into existing process control systems. METPOINT PRM therefore utilizes thin film technology sensors. The body and diaphragm of the metal thin film sensor are constructed from 1.4548 stainless steel material. On the side of the membrane aligned with the medium, an insulating layer, an EMS extended measurement strip, a compensation resistor and a strip conductor are attached by a combination of chemical and physical methods and structured photolithographically by etching. The layer of resistor and electrical strip conductor formed on top of the sensor is sub-μm in size, so it is called a thin-film resistor.
