■DRYPOINT®Mecocontrol-electronically controlled membrane dryer
DRYPOINTMecocontrol is the first successful development of an electronically controlled drying system with a fixed pressure dew point of +10°C to -26°C or a fixed distance between the compressed air temperature and the outlet pressure dew point. This dryness is maintained at all times, even when operating conditions change. Energy is only consumed if actual drying performance is provided.
Troublesome operating modes affect how the dryer operates under varying operating conditions (pressure, temperature, available air volume).

Operating mode suitable for all applications. When a constant pressure dew point is required, DRYPOINTMecocontrol bridges the gap between refrigeration and adsorption dryers. Depending on your application requirements, you can choose between two operating modes: ``Constant mode'' where a stable pressure dew point is required and ``Dynamic mode'' when a safe difference between the compressed air temperature is important.
Operating modes or application-specific dryness levels can be selected quickly and easily through a user-friendly interface. Setting mode and status are clearly indicated by LED. The interface for data transfer creates a clear performance evaluation and displays the performance, for example in combination with the METPOINTBDL data logger.
■DRYPOINT®Mecocontrol functions
The control software determines whether and for how long a full purge air volume needs to be provided in cycles to achieve and stabilize the desired degree of dryness based on sensor readings. This process is implemented through a timed sequence of solenoid valves. Therefore, the duration of the two processes described below will vary in each cycle to keep the degree of dryness within specified tolerances.
