In recent years, electricity costs for commercial enterprises have increased significantly. For this reason, compressed air filters have a short economic life.
By filtering particles from compressed air, the cavity volume within the filter element decreases more and more, and as a result, the differential pressure between the inlet and outlet of the filter increases continuously. To compensate for this difference, the compressor must generate higher pressure, which requires additional electrical energy and is more expensive to operate. For this reason, filter elements must be replaced at the latest when the additional energy costs (or operating costs) exceed the cost of acquiring a new element.
The new filter element also ensures that the required compressed air quality is maintained.
