■What is Shinto's metal soft magnetic powder?

Soft magnetic metal powder is mainly used as a core material for electronic components installed in communication devices and control equipment such as smartphones and automobiles. Shinto's metal soft magnetic powder is a metal powder with an average particle size of 2 microns, as a result of our pursuit of finer and more stable metal powder particles based on surface treatment projectile (steel shot) technology cultivated over many years. We have established mass production of magnetic powder. What can be done with micron-level metal powder?

■Lamination

By using fine powder, electronic components can be made smaller and lower in height.

■Higher filling

By filling the gaps between particles, it is possible to achieve high-density packing, improve magnetic properties, and downsize electronic components.

■Thin sheeting

Fine particle size suppresses unevenness during sheeting, making it possible to make thinner sheets.

■High frequency compatible

The original amorphous composition provides low loss, low anisotropy, and high resistance. Further loss reduction can be expected by applying an insulating coating.

■Application examples

・Power inductor ・Shield material/Encapsulation material ・Sensor function ・Electronic equipment This is just an example. It is expected to be used in electronic components that require "high reliability and high characteristics."

■FSC series

・Achieve fine particles using unique high-pressure water atomization technology - Contributes to high-density packing when combined with large particle size. We also support particle sizes other than 2μm (10μm or less).
