■Serial Port Emulation Mode

Use SX Virtual Link for Serial Device Server to virtualize the PC's COM port and connect to the network. You can continue to use your existing software as is.

■eCable Mode

Converts serial cable connections between RS-232C devices into a network. Free yourself from cable length limitations by connecting device servers and creating a network. Improves flexibility in layout of RS-232C devices.

■Raw TCP Mode

Send serial communication data transparently using TCP socket communication. Data can be sent directly to the RS-232C device connected to this product from an application program using the TCP socket API.

■What is a serial device server?

A serial device server is a network device that allows devices equipped with an RS-232C serial interface to be easily connected to a network. Our USB Virtual Link Technology® (USB virtualization technology) virtualizes serial device communications and sends them to the network, making it possible to use devices equipped with an RS-232C interface via the network.
