About This Product

■Importance of temperature profile

In the mounting process, temperature profile is an extremely important control item that determines the reliability of circuit boards. The KIC ProBot system is a quality control and production history management system that acquires the heat treatment history of mounted boards for all production boards. Inline quality control, production record database, defects It can be used for various computer-based purposes, such as analysis tools and productivity improvement tools.

■System principles and basic functions

A pair of temperature detection probes is installed in the reflow oven to continuously monitor temperature changes inside the oven, and the temperature history of all production boards is detected and recorded based on the product board and reflow oven database. All quality standard information, including reflow temperature and reflow time, is recorded with high accuracy in units of 0.1℃/1 second. Thermal history data is displayed on the PC monitor as temperature profile data and standard pass/fail judgment data immediately after the process is completed, and is simultaneously stored in the database as production history data.

■Judging the measurement results using the standard index PWI value

Whether the measurement results meet the temperature profile specifications can be quantitatively determined by the PWI value. The optimal conditions for a production process can be determined using the PWI value as an indicator, and the closer the value is to 0%, the more stable the process is considered to be, suitable for management.
