■Features
Pure copper with Cu99.90% or more contains 0.02 to 0.05% oxygen and has excellent electrical conductivity. Since it is easy to obtain, it is widely used for cutting, drawing, etc.
Please note that you need to be careful when using it. Because the oxygen present in the form of CuO2 exists at grain boundaries, cracks may occur especially during bending of thick materials. Regarding "hydrogen embrittlement", when heated to 500℃ or higher in a reducing gas containing hydrogen, the oxygen and hydrogen in copper react and embrittle the grain boundaries, making them extremely brittle and bending. A crack will occur.

・Saw cutting, milling (2F, 4F, 6F), polishing, various cutting processes, etc.
