■Details
・A6000 series heat-treated alloy containing Mg (magnesium) and Si (silicon) as elements. Furthermore, by adding a small amount of Cu (copper), it has high strength and excellent forgeability.
・By applying T6 heat treatment*1, the yield strength value has been improved, and although this value is only a guideline, it boasts a yield strength value comparable to SS400.

In particular, the Mg2Si phase formed by the addition of magnesium and silicon contributes to improving the strength and hardness of A6061. The combination of just the right amount of copper and chromium also provides a good balance between strength and corrosion resistance.
