About This Product

■Screw gas valve for LP gas with lock to prevent malfunction

A screw gas valve for LP gas with a locking function using a hexagonal jig. By installing it at the branch of outdoor piping or the inlet of a gas meter, and tightening it lightly with a hex wrench in the "fully open" or "fully closed" state, you can prevent malfunctions and accidental opening/closing. For normal opening/closing operations, use a hexagonal wrench to loosen the lock slightly (torque approximately 0.1N・m) and release the lock. In addition, the Teflon O-ring structure with excellent sealing properties and self-wiping effect ensure safe and smooth operation at all times. Adopts a chrome-plated, high-toughness forged brass body, which reduces the risk of cracking of threaded parts during piping compared to cast products. It has a compact knob handle. Please note that this product has passed the conformity test of the Japan LP Gas Appliance Inspection Association (LIA).

■Features

- Equipped with a locking function using a hexagonal jig. - Chrome-plated forged high-toughness brass body. Compared to cast products, it reduces the risk of cracking of threaded parts during piping. - Adopts a compact knob handle suitable for piping in narrow spaces. ・Adopts floating ball valve structure. (What is the floating ball valve structure? A PTFE sheet that provides excellent airtightness is placed in the flow direction to support the ball.The ball is pressed against the secondary seat by the differential pressure when fully closed, creating an airtight seal. (This makes it possible to close the flow path in a more stable state) - All airtight parts use PTFE, which has excellent corrosion resistance and durability. - Structure that prevents the stem from popping out from inside the body. ・The airtightness is further improved by the airtightness created by the internal pressure and the spring effect created by the conical spring (disc spring). ・Safety design that maintains airtightness over a long period of time by using two O-rings (LPG resistant NBR) in the stem. -Easy to open and close by simply rotating the handle 90 degrees, and the open/closed status of the valve can be clearly determined by the handle position.
