■Single pipe 48.6φ STK500 STK700

From scaffolding to DIY, how you use it is up to you. On our mail order site, you can easily purchase single pipes of your desired length and thickness.

■Difference between standard type and light tube type

There are two variations of the single tube pipes sold on this site: standard type and light tube type. The standard type is a single pipe suitable for general temporary scaffolding, has a wall thickness of 2.4mm, complies with STK500 and JIS G3444 types, and has a tensile strength of 500N/mm2 or more. In contrast, the light tube type is 24% lighter than the standard type, with a wall thickness of 1.8mm, STK700, and tensile strength of over 700N/mm2. Its light weight increases work efficiency. Suitable for assembling low-rise buildings, it can also be used for DIY and solar panel mounting. However, it is not suitable for scaffolding because it bends.

■Difference between with pin and without pin

Single pipe with pins allows you to join the pipes together using a straight joint to prevent the pipes from coming loose. This provides safety measures during scaffolding operations. On the other hand, single pipe without pins can be used for purposes other than scaffolding. For example, it can be used for handrails, temporary fences, braces, etc.

■Single pipe size

The size of the single pipe is 0.5 to 6.0 m in length and 48.6 mm in diameter.

■Uses of single pipes

Single pipe is lightweight and strong, making it suitable for constructing scaffolding. Monopipe pipes are also useful for building warehouses, roofs, bicycle storage, sheds, garages, and shelving.
