About This Product

■Product information

・SUPI sauna wack (SUPISAUNAVAHA) (water-based) ・A water-based product containing natural wax for the protective finish of sauna wood. -Protects wood from moisture and dirt. - The product is absorbed into the wood, leaving a smooth finish with a natural brightness. - Suitable for sauna benches, walls, ceilings, doors, and window frames.

■Color

・Interior color card: Interior wood stains and lacquers color card/Timeless color card ・Standard colors: black, white, gray

■Construction area

・10～13㎡/L (for one coat, varies depending on the type of wood) ・Please decide whether to apply one coat or two coats depending on the darkness of the finish you desire. Two coats are required for a dark finish.

■Construction method

Sponge brush, sponge or synthetic fiber brush

■Drying time

(At 23℃ and 50% humidity) Dry to the touch in about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Ready for use after 24 hours.

■Storage

Please store so that it does not freeze. Store in a safe place out of reach of children.

■Painting conditions

The surface to be painted must be dry. During painting and drying, the air temperature must be at least 5 degrees Celsius and the relative humidity must be less than 80%.

■ Preparation

- New clean surface: remove dirt and dust. Spray lightly with water, let dry, and sand away any loose wood fibers. Remove sanding dust. -Old, dirty wooden surfaces previously painted with Supi Sauna products: Clean properly with Supi Saunapesu cleaner according to instructions, rinse well with water and dry. Sand to remove dust. If there is any previous paint remaining under the wax, the finish will be shinier than untreated wood. SUPI Sauna Wax is not recommended for use on oil-painted surfaces unless the oil paint has been completely removed. SUPI sauna wax is easily absorbed into the joints of ceramic tiles, so please protect the floor thoroughly before installation.
