About This Product

In addition to the normal standard tests, functional fabrics require special tests to confirm the developed functionality. The multidirectional moisture permeation property of fabrics, known as moisture management properties, affects how humans perceive moisture. In order to improve the comfort of clothes, especially sportswear, it is important to know the properties of moisture management. MMT (Moisture Management Tester) measures, evaluates and grades the moisture management properties of fabrics. MMT (Moisture Management Tester) is the only device that accurately calculates the moisture management properties of functional fabrics in order to achieve the fabric comfort desired by general consumers. Developed to measure the dynamic water penetration properties of performance apparel or knits and textiles in three dimensions. AATCC195 and GB21655.2 were created based on MMT.

■Quick and easy

To measure the nature of dynamic water penetration, place the test piece horizontally between the upper and lower sensors of the instrument. Place the test piece with the skin side facing the top of the device and drip a certain amount of test water, like sweat, onto the center of the skin side of the fabric. MMT has concentric sensors (pins) installed on the top and bottom, which measure and record the conductivity between each sensor ring with the test piece in between. trust

■The upper sensor and protective translucent draft shield automatically move into position at the start and end of the test.

■Select the original sensor or direction sensor according to your needs.

・Original sensor: Measures moisture movement within fabric based on AATCC 195 and GB21655.2. - Directional sensor: Measures water movement patterns across 8 directions while simultaneously performing the same measurements as the original sensor, including the AATCC 195.

■Easy to access

Open style cabinet allows easy access to samples and instrument components. The sensor can be easily removed for daily cleaning and maintenance.
