Since MPD developed the first coin cell holder, we have continued to reinvent it by advancing newer designs to meet the demands of the ever-evolving electronics industry. SnapDragon is our latest product with a number of new features to meet growing demand. SnapDragon's coin battery is fully secured when the cover snaps into place, providing superior connectivity with high reliability. Shocks, vibrations, and drops will hardly cause the battery to become dislodged or even cause a momentary loss of connection.
Meanwhile, the cover can be easily removed with a snap, making battery replacement quick and easy. The LCP base is fully resistant to high-temperature reflow soldering processes, while the polypropylene cover is strong and flexible, allowing you to replace the battery as many times as you like without any problems. Amazingly, all of these benefits can be achieved even with the ultra-slim SnapDragon battery holder, while only increasing the overall height of the coin cell from the PCB by an average of 1mm.
