About This Product

MetCam automatically detects leaked methane gas (natural gas) by processing images taken with an infrared camera using a unique algorithm, and issues an alert based on the gas concentration and gas cloud size. In addition, the camera itself reports the location of methane emissions once an hour, reducing the amount of work required for administrators to create reports. Waterproof, dustproof, and explosion-proof (according to foreign (international) standards) mechanism, does not require periodic calibration, and can be fixedly installed outdoors. Achieves continuous monitoring over a wide area 24 hours a day/365 days a year.

■Application

MetCam can be used 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in a wide range of facilities where there is a risk of methane gas (natural gas) leaks, such as natural gas fields, LNG gas liquefaction plants, transportation and interprocess pipelines, gas storage tanks, and power plants. Designed for continuous monitoring.

■Detects methane gas leaks and automatically warns each leak size

MetCam not only visualizes leaked methane gas, but also uses algorithms to determine the concentration of leaked gas and the size of the gas cloud, and can issue alerts based on the leak level. Images taken at the moment gas is detected are automatically recorded and can be viewed and downloaded on a monitor in the control room, helping to analyze the cause.

■Regularly obtain methane emission data

In addition to the recorded videos when gas leaks are detected, data on locations where methane emissions occur is recorded periodically (every hour), and three months' worth of data can be downloaded (data is recorded as a JPEG image). Masu) . This time-series data can be used to detect very small gas leaks and analyze specific locations where gas leaks occur, making it useful for regular emissions control work.

■Highly compatible interface

It is equipped with an interface that is easy to integrate into existing monitoring systems, such as alarm output at 4-20mA, remote video output using GigE, and video control compatible with ONVIF.
