About This Product
■Continuous monitoring system
Model GA35 is designed as a monitoring system for SF6 gas concentrations in closed spaces, such as underground substations. If SF6 gas does not leak into the natural atmosphere and remains within a certain space, SF6 gas may escape from the filling equipment due to misuse or leakage. Model GA35 can be used in rooms up to 250m^2.
SF6 gas is about five times heavier than air, so it tends to accumulate at the bottom, and leaking SF6 poses a risk of suffocation in closed spaces, especially underground spaces. GA35 continuously measures using a non-dispersive infrared absorption sensor. Basically, it is installed and measured at locations where SF6 gas may leak, such as GIS or other equipment filled with SF6 gas.
■Reliable warning
If a leak of SF6 gas is detected in the atmosphere, a loud warning sound will be emitted to warn you. SF6 gas has a much larger molecular weight than air, so the sampling box should be placed near the floor.
Filters installed in the sampling box and hose prevent foreign particles in the sample fluid from adversely affecting measurements. GA35 uses a built-in pump to control the flow rate for automatic measurement. If the flow rate becomes uncontrollable due to pump failure or sample line blockage, an alarm will be issued to notify you.
