■Gas density monitoring of power equipment
Gas density is an important operating parameter for high voltage equipment. If the required gas density is not present, safe operation of high voltage equipment cannot be guaranteed. The reference chamber type gas density meter GDM-RC-100 reliably issues a contact switch alarm even under extreme environmental conditions if the gas density falls below the set value due to gas leakage from high voltage equipment.
■Operating principle
The GDM-RC-100 operates according to the principle of reference chamber filled gas. Reference chamber gas fill allows accurate isochoric contact switching and display over the entire temperature range. Temperature changes and atmospheric pressure fluctuations do not affect measurements.
■Easy to understand
The reference chamber type gas density meter GDM-RC-100, like the gas density meter GDM-100, is equipped with WIKA's φ100mm scale plate for easy reading of indicated values. The display of the gas density part above 0 and the display of the vacuum range are displayed with high precision on one scale. This increases the safety of maintenance and service work on switchgear and makes it easier to perform this type of work.
■Highest switchgear safety with self-diagnosis function
Welded reference chamber provides very high long-term stability and eliminates drift. In the unlikely event that a leak occurs in the reference chamber, the device's switching signals reliably alert the switchgear operator. This gas density monitor is maintenance free.
■Support for SF6 alternative gas
The GDM-RC-100 can be used with all kinds of alternative gases and provides accurate isovolume contact switching of these gases without being affected by temperature.
