About This Product

■Certification that it is a standard device

Deadweight pressure balances (deadweight testers) are the most accurate products in the electrical and mechanical pressure measuring instrument industry. In addition to the direct measurement of pressure (p=F/A), this high-quality standard also offers very low measurement errors and long-term stability. Deadweight pressure balances (dead weight testers) have been used for many years in factories, calibration laboratories in the manufacturing industry, and national research institutes and laboratories.

■Independent operation

The CPB5600DP, which combines a pressure generator and a mechanical measuring mechanism, can be used in on-site maintenance and service industries.

■Basic principle

The generated pressure is defined by the quotient of the vertical downward force and the effective cross-sectional area. The main component of model CPB5600DP is a highly precisely manufactured piston-cylinder system that is loaded with weights to provide individual test points. The load on the weight is proportional to the working pressure, and the desired pressure is achieved with the optimal overload. As standard, these weights are manufactured with standard gravity (9.80655m/s^2), but can also be adapted to customer-specific installation locations as well as DKD/DAkkS calibrations.

■Features

・Measurement range (= static pressure + differential pressure) Pneumatic pressures up to 400 bar (5,000 psi) and hydraulic pressures up to 1,600 bar (23,200 psi) ・Total measurement error is 0.008% of differential pressure + 0.0001% of static pressure (1 ppm) - Calibration records that can be traced to national standards are included as standard, and DKD/DAkks calibration records are available as an option if necessary. - Reliable over a long period of time, calibration is recommended once every five years. -The weight is manufactured from stainless steel and aluminum and is adjustable to local gravity.

■Applications

・Primary standard for calibration of differential pressure measuring instruments under static pressure - Calibrator for testing, adjustment, and pressure gauges as a reference device in factories and calibration rooms. ・Ideal for on-site use as it is an independent calibrator
