■Product description
EGS80 limit switches are suitable for many measurement requirements. It is widely used in combination with any type of load cell or load cell for load or weight monitoring of conveyor systems, cranes, hoists, etc. This limit switch allows galvanic isolation between field and control circuits and can also be used as a galvanic insulator.
Both 2-wire and 3-wire transmitters and output devices with signal 0/4 ... 20mA can be connected. The input has cable breakage and short circuit monitoring. Two relays and one current output 0/4...20mA are available as outputs. Current output can be scaled freely. The measurement value display is a small liquid crystal display, and you can select from 17 different display units such as kg, t, N, bar, etc.
This is operated via the control panel on the front of the instrument or via the free PC software. This software allows easy and fast parameterization. Files containing configuration parameters can be created, saved and loaded onto the EGS80 limit switch. If multiple instruments need to be parameterized in the same way, the time required is significantly reduced. We can optionally provide a PC connection adapter cable to connect with "SUB-D9/25-Audio Plug" or "USB Type A-Audio Plug".
