About This Product
■Float switch explanation
A float with a built-in permanent magnet moves up and down the guide tube reliably as the water level changes. Reed contacts (inert gas contacts) built into the non-magnetic wall of the float and the guide tube are energized by the sliding float's magnet. The use of magnets and reed contacts allows for contactless switch operation without the need for power and without damaging the float. The number of contacts can be increased. Magnetic float switch can accommodate multiple switches.
The switch is actuated depending on the rise in the water level: normally open, normally closed, switching contact type. The use of a float for up to 2 contacts allows the operation of bistable switches. In other words, even if the contact position moves up or down due to fluctuations in water level, the contact remains in its original state. Float switches are easy to install and maintenance-free, so there are no installation, commissioning, or operating costs.
