About This Product

■Product description

Multipoint thermocouples are used for temperature monitoring in reactors and fuel storage tanks, especially at hot spots (points where there is a potential for rapid temperature increases). The band shape is a common shape for multi-point thermometers. In this design, thermocouples or resistance thermometers are placed linearly on the strip so that they can be replaced if necessary. In order to achieve a fast response time, each thermometer is designed to be pressed against the inner wall of the protection tube with a spring. Since it is a multi-point type, many wiring terminals are required, so a terminal box is required. A specially shaped terminal box can be installed in the head position or the terminal box can be wall mounted.
