About This Product

■Product description

EFRACTO-PAD® enables accurate measurements of piping inside combustion furnaces. REFRACTO-PAD® is a product developed by Gayesco International Inc. Also, Gayesco is now part of the WIKA Group. The hot end of the REFRACTO-PAD® sensor is an inorganic insulated cable (sheathed cable) with a welding pad that can be tightly attached to the outline of the piping. It consists of a metal sheath containing inorganic insulation cable strands compressed within a high-density ceramic composition. The internal lead strands are made of thermally conductive material. The outer material of the sheath can be selected according to the application. A bare internal lead wire is welded to one end of the sheathed cable, creating an insulated (ungrounded) or uninsulated (grounded) measurement point. Patented shielding with welding pads and sheathed cables. This shield is a key component of the REFRACTO-PAD® and provides accurate temperature measurement of the tube. At one end of the shielded cable, the ends of the bare wire leads are connected and sealed using a sealing compound. The ends of the lead strands form a platform for electrical connections. You can connect cables, plug-in connectors or connector sockets.

■Sensor design

REFRACTO-PAD® is designed from two main components. Pipe contour weld pads and patented heat shields are engineered to each tube and sensor size By using these engineered components, the REFRACTO-PAD® design provides accurate measurement results I will.
