About This Product

■Product description

Thermowells are a key component of any temperature measurement point. They are used to isolate the process from the environment, thus protecting the environment and personnel, protecting temperature sensors from hazardous media, high pressures and flow rates, and allowing thermometers to be replaced during operation. There are many variations in thermowell design and materials to suit a variety of applications. The type of process connection and the substructure of the protection tube are important in process design. A basic difference is distinguished between threaded and welded connections thermowells and flanged connections. Additionally, a distinction can be made between pipe welded thermowells and hollowed-out thermowells. Pipe welded thermowells have the tip part and pipe welded together. Hollow-out thermowells are manufactured by cutting out material. The TE35 series of pipe-welded thermowells with screwed or welded connections are particularly suitable for use with mechanical and electrical thermometers from WIKA. The design according to DIN 43772 makes it suitable for use in the chemical industry, process technology and equipment manufacturing industry for low to medium load processes.
