About This Product
■Product description
Thermowells are a key component of any temperature measurement point. They are used to isolate processes from their surroundings, thus protecting the environment and personnel, protecting temperature sensors from hazardous media, high pressures and flow rates, and allowing thermometers to be replaced during operation.
There are many variations in thermowell design and materials to suit a variety of applications. The type of process connection and the substructure of the protection tube are important in process design. A basic difference is distinguished between threaded and welded connections thermowells and flanged connections.
Additionally, a distinction can be made between pipe welded thermowells and hollowed-out thermowells. Pipe welded thermowells have the tip part and pipe welded together. Hollow-out thermowells are manufactured by cutting out material.
The TW25 series of hollow thermowells with welded connections are suitable for use with a large number of WIKA electronic and mechanical thermometers. Thermowells designed according to these international standards are extremely durable and are widely used in the chemical and petrochemical industry as well as in plant construction.
