To guarantee as flexible an operation as possible, the temperature switch has an integrated microswitch that can be opened and closed by a direct electrical load up to 250 V AC, 20 A. Gold plated contacts, argon gas filled microswitches are optionally available for low contact power ratings such as those used in PLCs.
The measuring element uses a gas filling system using a Breton tube. The maximum settable range is 0...600 °C. The measuring element and the spiral armor of the capillary are made of stainless steel. Model TAG temperature switches are extremely robust, with optimal operating characteristics and high measurement performance, ensuring a repeatability of less than 0.5% of the span.
