About This Product

■Product description

In the process industry, master-slave digital differential pressure measurement has many advantages over other methods of differential pressure measurement. Even locations that are many meters apart are connected by cables that are flexible and easy to route. Eliminates capillaries that are complicated to install and sensitive to changes in ambient temperature.

■Flexible compatibility with a wide range of combinations

You can combine two identical models or two different models. The essential condition is to use one of the models as the master side. First, take measurements from each device. Then, the internal calculation function measures the differential pressure and converts it into a current output or bus system signal. The slave side continues to output measured values ​​to the device on the master side via the bus communication line. A diaphragm seal is no longer required due to the combination of devices and a variety of connection methods. For example, it is possible to use a flush mounting at the bottom of the vessel and there are no problems with measuring with superimposed gas at the top of the tank when making an open connection.

■Strong resistance to temperature changes

In containers installed outdoors, the sun's rays especially affect the capillary. The increase in pressure inside the capillary due to temperature changes will cause the measurement result to be different from the correct one. Digital differential pressure measurement using a cable connection is virtually unaffected by ambient temperature changes or sunlight.
