Features

■Compatible with top runner standards

This is a brake motor that uses Toshiba Premium Gold Motor. Clears the top runner standards. (Excluding 0.4kW or less)

■Can be driven by inverter

1:10 constant torque operation is possible using an inverter. (Excluding those below 0.4kW) (When operating with an inverter, it is necessary to change the DC power supply unit and change the circuit configuration.)

■A rich lineup

We have a lineup ranging from 0.2kW to 37kW.

■Low noise specification (for stage equipment only) *Short-time rating

Single brake operating noise: 55dB or less (more than 10% noise reduction compared to conventional products) *Excluding 0.4kW brakes

■Full range of options

We also have a complete lineup of manual release device options. Brake insulation class B is standard. F type is also possible. The brake section is not affected by dust by installing the optional dust cover and end plug. ・xx. 38. 11N: Standard basic type ・xx. 38. 13N: With manual release ・xx. 38. By adopting a high-performance brake power supply unit, you can obtain accurate braking with good brake response during braking even when the brakes are turned off at the same time.

■Brake structure

The KEB series brake motor consists of an electric motor and a brake part. The electric motor is a fully enclosed external fan type electric motor that complies with JISC4213:2014. The brake part is a spring damping type (non-excitation type) dry type double disc brake, which is attached to the bearing bracket on the opposite load side of the motor.

■Brake operation: Starting

When power is applied to the brake motor, current flows through the magnetic coil, and the armature is instantly attracted to the magnetic coil side, creating a gap between the inner disc, armature, and end plate, and the brake is completely released, causing the motor to rotate. start.

■Brake action: Stop

When the power is released, the magnetic coil's attractive force disappears, and the armature is pushed back by the operating spring, creating a braking force between the inner disc, armature, and end plate, and enters the braking state.
