About This Product
[Airbag deployment device] Uses high pressure gas to simulate the gas flow rate of an actual inflator. Cold Gas System is an airbag deployment device that does not use an inflator. The compressed gas is controlled with high precision to simulate the gas flow rate of the inflator.
Because it does not use an inflator, experiments can be performed as many times as you like quickly and at low cost. It also has repeatability several times that of an inflator.

■Main features
・Output gas flow rate can be set in the range of 0.5 mol to 8.0 mol (depending on tank capacity and injection gas pressure).
・Gas flow rate can be set by selecting the orifice bar (flow rate control opening).
・Uses an electronically controlled special valve that enables high-speed response and large flow rate.
Valve drive delay: 0.2ms or less from trigger signal. (When using electronic control valve)
・Valve full opening time: 2.0ms or less from the trigger signal. (When using electronic control valve)
-Can be replaced with conventional cold gas inflators, hybrid models, and pyrotechnic models.
・One-stage deployment model and two-stage deployment model can be supplied.
- Compressed gases include helium, argon, nitrogen, and a mixture of these gases.
