About This Product
Cell fasteners are nuts that are too thin to cut threads and are ideal for thin plate parts that require a lot of force. Can be press-fitted using air pressure, hydraulic pressure, mechanical press, etc., and no special tools are required. Complete fixation and screw guarantee are easily obtained. The assembly line can be streamlined in terms of time, labor, uniformity of products, etc., and high profit efficiency is possible.
■Installation
Press-fitted using conventional equipment (standard press machine).
1.Drill the specified installation pilot holes.
(Note) At this time, do not remove any burrs or other base material from the mounting hole on the mounting side, and just press fit.
2. Insert the guide part (pilot part) of the cell fastener into the installation hole.
3. Apply pressure with a press until the knurling part is completely press-fitted.
■Reliability
High punching force and rotational torque can be obtained.
- By press-fitting, the knurling part plastically deforms the mating plate material and is fixed around the reversely tapered shank, resulting in high punching force.
- The corrugated knurling section displaces the mating metal in a corrugated manner, resulting in high rotational torque.
