About This Product

Simply insert the Cell Stud into a pre-drilled hole in a metal plate and press it in with a regular press to create a precisely perpendicular screw, creating a beautiful finish with a smooth, protrusion-free surface on the plate.

■Installation

Press-fitted using conventional equipment (standard press machine). 1.Drill the specified mounting holes. (Note) At this time, do not remove any burrs or other base material from the mounting hole, just press fit. 2. Insert the cell stud into the mounting hole and lower mold. 3. Apply pressure with a press until the head part is flush with the mating base material.

■Reliability

High punching force, rotational torque, and accurate verticality can be obtained. The pressure from the press causes the knurled ring to plastically deform the mating metal plate and fix it in the groove (eeling) created under the head of the stud, resulting in high punching force. Moreover, the knurling displaces the plate material in a waveform, so high rotational torque can be obtained.
