About This Product

Cell spacer is a multifunctional product that functions as a nut, support, spacer, and positioning shaft. In addition to the conventional minimum thickness of 1.0 mm, thinner plates of 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm have also been developed, making it possible to meet the needs for smaller, lighter, and thinner plates. No deburring or machining is required during installation. Even after processing, there are no protrusions on the surface of the mounting plate, allowing for a clean finish.

■Installation

Press-fitted using conventional equipment (standard press machine). 1.Drill the specified mounting hole. (Note) At this time, do not scrape off any burrs or other base material from the mounting hole on the mounting side, just press fit. 2. Insert the cell spacer into the mounting hole and lower mold. 3. Apply pressure with a press until the knurling part is flush with the mating base material.

■Reliability

High punching force, rotational torque, and accurate verticality can be obtained. - By press-fitting, the knurling part plastically deforms the mating plate material and fixes the mating material in the groove below the knurling, resulting in high punching force. - The wave-shaped knurling section displaces the mating metal in a wave-like manner, resulting in high rotational torque.
