About This Product

FS Spacer is a product that extends the height of the cell fastener and has the function of a spacer. The result is a clean finish with no stress on the mating sheet metal due to the punches of the press.

■InstallationPress-fitted using conventional equipment (standard press machine).
1.Drill the specified mounting hole.
 (Note) At this time, do not remove any burrs or other base material from the mounting hole on the mounting side, and just press fit.
2.Insert the guide part (pilot part) of the FS spacer into the mounting hole.
3. Apply pressure with a press until the knurling part is flush with the mating base material.

■ReliabilityHigh punching force and rotational torque can be obtained.
- By press-fitting, the knurling part plastically deforms the mating plate material and is fixed around the reversely tapered shank, resulting in high punching force.
- The corrugated knurling section displaces the mating metal in a corrugated manner, resulting in high rotational torque.
