About This Product

Nord-Lock SC washers are specifically designed for the construction industry. Each inner diameter is chamfered to optimize the contact surface between the HV bolt and washer, which has a unique rounded shape. Can be replaced directly with regular chamfer washers (compliant with European standard EN 14399-6).
Since it utilizes the wedge locking mechanism of regular Nord-Lock washers, it uses the axial force itself to reliably prevent loosening without relying on friction.

■Test resultsNord-Lock SC washers have been rigorously tested by certification bodies and independent laboratories to prove their performance. SC washers have been verified in HV assemblies to be safe for use in friction welding of bolted connections in high-strength structures and have received European technical approval ETA-20/0010 from the German Institute for Construction Technology (DIBt). Nord-Lock SC washers, NLO, NLSS, and 254 SMOⓇ have been confirmed to be safe for use in bolted connections with bearing construction according to EN15048 and in ETA-19/0813 issued by DIBt. I am.
