About This Product

Nord-Lock washers, which feature a wedge locking mechanism, use axial force rather than friction to physically prevent bolt connections from loosening.

■SP washer (wide type)Nord-Lock SP washers are wide type washers that have the same wedge lock mechanism as standard washers. SP washers should be used in conjunction with flanged hex bolts and nuts (IOS4161, 4162) for large holes that exceed the bolt hole diameter specified in JIS B 1001, long holes, or when the mating material is soft.
