Ground fault points, which require a lot of time and effort to search, can be located with high precision (within 5 km of pinching distance and 250 m of locating accuracy). The structure (detection device, PCT sensor) allows for installation and removal without any construction work, so it can be installed for as long as necessary on lines that repeatedly experience ground faults.
■Principle of portable accident point locating device
- When a ground fault occurs, the detection device detects the ground fault surge current flowing from the ground fault point.
・The detection device notifies ground fault detection information to a remote location PC.
- If a ground fault point is caught between the detection devices, the location PC simulates the occurrence pattern of the ground fault within the caught area.
・Compare the simulated ground fault occurrence pattern with the arrival time difference of the ground fault surge actually collected from the detection device, and display the approximate value of the ground fault occurrence pattern on the orientation PC screen as the accident point location result. display.
■Features of portable accident point locating device
・A detection method that accurately captures the timing at which a ground fault surge reaches the detection device and the results of a ground fault accident simulation conducted based on equipment information, etc. are compared with the difference in the arrival time of the ground fault surge between the actual detection devices, We have applied for a patent on our unique method for locating points. - Data transfer from the detection device to the orientation PC uses LTE communication, so a dedicated communication line is not required.
