■What is voltage flicker?
Industrial equipment such as arc furnaces that consume large amounts of electricity instantaneously can cause severe voltage fluctuations in the power grid, causing flickering in electric lighting. This flickering is called "voltage flicker." If the flicker caused by this voltage flicker exceeds a limit, it will cause discomfort to people, so a flicker meter is required to measure and monitor this.
