About This Product

By stacking Peltier modules in two layers, a large temperature difference can be achieved. In our two-stage module, the thickness of the intermediate base material on the overlapping surfaces has been made as thin as possible to reduce thermal resistance and improve efficiency. In addition, the intermediate base material absorbs the distortion that occurs because it is composed of materials with widely different expansion coefficients, improving durability. Furthermore, we were able to significantly reduce production costs compared to conventional multi-stage modules. Usage example

■Parallel (independent) connection

Apply +12V to the red lead wire on the lower right side of the diagram, connect the lower left black lead wire to ground, and similarly apply +6V to the upper right red lead wire of the upper module to connect the upper left black lead wire. Connect the leads independently to ground. A large temperature difference can be obtained between the heat absorption side and the heat radiation side.

■Series connection

Apply 14V to the red lead wire on the lower right side of the diagram, connect the black lead wire on the lower left side and the red lead wire on the upper right side, and connect the black lead wire on the upper left side to ground. Although it is energy efficient, it can maintain the same temperature difference as a single-stage module, and the amount of heat absorbed is approximately 80% of the power consumption, making it a highly efficient Peltier element.
