With the HYDT series of motors, Ziehl-Abegg's drive specialists offer customized solutions for special applications where the drive unit has a particularly high power density and low weight. As a stator-rotor unit, this motor is designed without a housing or bearings, so it can be integrated into your application without taking up space.
Characteristics and features
■Cooling is done directly with seawater in the housing or with a separate oil cooler. Because it is oil-filled, no pressure-resistant housing is required, even in deep water. The high-voltage version requires only a small cable cross-section, which offers many advantages, especially for long cable runs.
