■Summary
A frequency inverter developed specifically for ZAdyn series elevator technology allows comfortable and precise control of the speed of the elevator drive. The various housing designs and consistently compact construction make them ideal for installation in control cabinets and also for wall mounting in machine rooms or elevator shafts. Frequency inverters of the ZAdyn type ensure maximum running comfort and precise holding accuracy in wire rope lifts with synchronous or asynchronous motors. Lift technology-specific software allows for intuitive operation and quick set-up. A wide variety of interfaces facilitates connection to elevator controllers.

■Ordering, storage, trial run - very easy
Extremely simple ordering, storage and commissioning ZAdynpro is already integrated with all interfaces for connecting elevator controllers and encoders. This eliminates the hassle and time-consuming selection of optional interface cards during the ordering process. ZAdynpro operates synchronous and asynchronous motors in the power range from 4.6kW to 110.0kW with the high reliability common to ZIEHL-ABEGG products. All devices in the ZAdyn series are frequency inverters specially developed for elevator applications. This is reflected in the clear and simple menu structure of the external control terminal ZApad. Therefore, easy operation and start-up are achieved.
■Quiet and functional design
Quiet and functional The integrated safety feature Safe Torque Off (STO) complies with IEC 61800-5-2 (SIL 3) and meets the requirements of EN 81-20. Due to the absence of switching noise from motor contactors, ZAdyn4C and ZAdynpro frequency inverters can be installed even in noise-sensitive areas of buildings. Evacuation operation is possible with power supplied from a 1-230VAC uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and battery. ZAdyn's software has monitoring functions in accordance with the Elevator Directive 2014/33/EU.
