■Summary
The EVAC 3 model device is specially developed for elevator technology. The compact construction and sophisticated design make it ideal for installation in control cabinets (EVAC 3B) and for wall mounting (EVAC 3C). The EVAC 3 unit can be used with both synchronous and asynchronous motors and can run continuously for 60 minutes to provide evacuation time for vehicles with limited occupancy. Actual rescue teams will need a battery to set the frequency inverter's supply voltage, as well as some other parts. The required voltage and battery capacity are determined by the technical specifications of the motor and the number and length of escape routes.
■Characteristics and features
The evacuation unit EVAC 3C monitors the electrical supply network of elevator installations. In the event of a fault or if one or more power supply phases are present, the frequency inverter is disconnected from the power supply grid. At the same time, a power failure in the elevator control unit will be notified. After a delay, the battery supply voltage is turned on. The evacuation unit EVAC 3C switches the frequency inverter to emergency operation mode, allowing you to drive at low speeds regardless of the direction of travel. External staff will no longer have to wait or be delayed in rescuing a trapped person.
