■Summary
The main switch Zenec is used to control the EC fan via external control signals. This allows the EC fan to be manually switched to maximum speed if the control signal is interrupted due to a technical defect, etc. Particularly in agriculture and livestock production, this feature has the decisive advantage of ensuring optimal ventilation in the cowshed at all times. In addition to 100% functionality, the main switch can also be operated automatically using external control signals. Using system components from ZIEHL-ABEGG, you can create a ventilation system tailored to your individual requirements and achieve optimal operational reliability, maximum performance and maximum energy efficiency.
External main switch with bypass function. In an emergency, the frequency inverter can be bypassed with the main switch, allowing 100% operation of the connected fan.
■Main switch for EC fan
Zenec main switch for 1~/3~ EC fans of ETAvent and ECblue series with 100% functionality. EC fans are controlled via external control signals (e.g. 0-10V). If the control signal fails due to a technical defect, you can use Zenec to manually switch the connected EC fan to 100%.
・Specifications: For combination with 1~ and 3~ EC fans supporting 100% functional control options: 1~ ETAvent and 1~/3~ ECblue for agricultural use.
・Switch position: 100%: Maximum rotation speed of EC fan 0: Fan is switched off. The switch can be locked with a padlock in this position
・Auto: Control operation using external preset signals
■Main switch with bypass function
The main switch has three switch positions. In position 1 or automatic, a connected frequency inverter is supplied. The regulated output of the frequency inverter is fed back to a switch that feeds a fan, for example. 100% or bypass means that the connected power supply is switched directly to the fan or motor. This allows 100% operation in certain situations, such as emergency driving. A built-in auxiliary contact signals the position of this switch.
