■Summary
Voltage regulators have been established for many years. These are available as voltage controllers, so-called phase angle control devices, or transformer-based control devices. These products are typically used to control voltage-controllable outer rotor motors (asynchronous motors). The advantage of this technology is that the investment costs are very low. The voltage regulator supports a rated current of up to 80A. There is a version for every application in pneumatic technology. Equipped with a built-in 5-step switch as standard, the product controls the motor and fan without producing motor electrical noise.
Many of Ziehl-Abegg's outer rotor motors are voltage controlled. Acts as a voltage controller for easy and low-cost speed control of these motors or fans. Ziehl-Abegg offers a wide range of electronic voltage controllers (phase firing devices) and transformer-type control units.
