About This Product

■Summary

ZIEHL-ABEGG's process air fans are used in industrial machines and production systems in a variety of industries for tasks of great responsibility. It reliably performs functions that would not be possible without defined air movement. The optimized fan concept allows it to fulfill its role with complete reliability and functional stability. The title "Royal Class" is given to the highest quality. For example, housing fans from ZIEHL-ABEGG are used in all areas of ventilation, drying and cooling. For applications involving flammable gases, vapors, dust, etc., we also offer explosion-proof housing fans with ATEX certification.

■Product specifications

Centrifugal fan with spiral housing, single-sided extraction, direct drive. Maximum feed medium temperature 400°C.

■Characteristics and characteristics

・High performance impeller equipped with backward curved blades, dynamic balance adjustment ・Welded spiral housing made of treated steel plate ・RAL 7032 or stainless steel pickled and passivated - Drive motor is standard equipment (IMB3 & IMB5 versions and other standard versions use IEC motor) ・Volume flow rate is 22,000 to 100,000m³/h ・Pressure is 2,600 to 20,000pa

■Motor concept

・IEC standard motor version: IMB3 or IMB5 ・Special motor available as an option: ISO H or with stainless steel shaft

■Explosion-proof specification

- Antistatic surface protection with black (RAL 9005 and RAL 7035) powder coating ・Zone separation is possible with appropriate radial shaft seals ・Temperature class T4/T125°C ・Equipment group: IIB+H2 ・Inner rotor motor (AC) ・EPL：Gb/Gc/Db/Dc ・Zone 1/2/21/22 ・Motor ignition protection type: Ex d / Ex de / Ex eb / Ex ec / Ex tb / Ex tc ・Fan ignition protection type: Ex h (structural safety "c") ・Appropriate ambient temperature: -20 to 40/60°C ・Certificate: ATEX
