About This Product

nanoSCOUTER™" uses a sophisticated nanopore device created using a semiconductor process and microcurrent measurement technology to measure the quantity and size of microparticles such as viruses, exosomes*1, liposomes*2, etc. with high precision and high speed. This is a particulate measuring device. Contribute to research and development of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, etc. *1 Exosome: Cell-derived nanoparticles contained in body fluids. ■Low cost, space saving

Adopts an electrical method (Coulter principle) that is superior in price and size compared to optical methods that require a light source. Small and lightweight desktop type.

■Measure each particle

A minute current waveform that occurs when a particle passes through a micropore. The method of measuring these changes makes it possible to measure individual particles. In addition, the new mechanism enables smooth measurement of electrically neutral particles and low-concentration samples.

■High precision measurement

Nanopore precision is the key to electrical particle measurement. Viruses on the order of 100 nanometers can be measured using nanopore devices using semiconductor manufacturing processes.

■High-speed measurement

The current waveform becomes smaller as the particles passing through the nanopore become smaller. Using technology cultivated in electronic measuring instruments and semiconductor testing equipment, we have achieved high-speed, high-precision quantification using a newly developed high-speed amplifier for measuring minute currents.
