About This Product

microSCOUTER™" is a particulate measuring instrument that is based on the "nanoSCOUTER™" particulate measuring instrument that is compatible with precise nanopore devices made using semiconductor processes, and is equipped with a micropore device and an optimal user interface for it. The quantity and diameter of micro-sized particles can be measured with high precision and high speed using microcurrent measurement technology, contributing to applications in beverage and food testing, research in the medical field, and early development of biotechnology. ■Low cost, space saving

Adopts an electrical method (Coulter principle) that is superior in price and size compared to optical methods that require a light source. Small and lightweight desktop type.

■Measure each particle

A minute current waveform that occurs when a particle passes through a micropore. The method of measuring these changes makes it possible to measure individual particles.

■High precision measurement

Micropore precision is the key to electrical particle measurement. Using micropore devices using semiconductor manufacturing processes, it is now possible to measure microorganisms such as bacteria around 1 µm and fungi that are several µm in size.

■High-speed measurement

Using technology cultivated in electronic measuring instruments and semiconductor testing equipment, we have achieved high-speed, high-precision quantification with a newly developed high-speed amplifier for microcurrent measurement for micropores.
