About This Product

■A new generation of protection that utilizes the photocatalytic action of titanium oxide.

Recommended for decorating high-class buildings such as restaurants, department stores, and hotels, commercial facilities such as shopping malls, and stylish shops such as cafes, bakeries, cakes, and chocolateries. Also suitable for residential awning and decoration.

■Color lineup

・8940F Green UV shielding rate 100.0% ・8950F Sapphire Blue UV shielding rate 100.0% ・8960F white UV shielding rate 99.7% ・8970F beige UV shielding rate 100.0% *There may be slight color differences depending on the lot. *Color tone may change depending on usage conditions.

■Precautions when sewing

This tent material uses titanium oxide photocatalyst, which is a completely different antifouling technology than before. We strongly recommend that our customers conduct prototype production and test exposure before actually accepting and implementing the order. Titanium oxide photocatalyst is coated with a thickness of several microns. It is easily scratched and its performance is significantly reduced when wiped with solvent. During processing, packaging, transportation, and expansion, please do not handle the titanium oxide photocatalyst in a manner that may damage it. Dirt adheres to the area where the titanium oxide photocatalyst has fallen and is extremely noticeable.

■Joining method

The titanium oxide photocatalyst layer on the surface cannot be welded. When joining, place the back side of the common fabric from the back side and make a butt joint. *When performing high-frequency welding, please use a smooth electrode (solid electrode) on the titanium oxide photocatalyst coated surface. *Make sure to join the joints so that the PVC does not seep out from the joints or the common fabric is visible. Dirt on the protruding PVC and common fabric parts is noticeable. *Please do not pull the photocatalyst surface into wrinkles or drag the photocatalyst surface strongly during processing.

■Chalk mark (whitening on the folded part)

With dark-colored membrane materials, chalk marks tend to be more noticeable at bent parts. If chalk marks appear, wipe them immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Chalk marks will not go away, but they will be less noticeable. *If you notice a chalk mark, do not leave it unattended and wipe it dry immediately. If you leave it alone, it will be difficult to erase.
