■Simple spin coater SPIN COATER Model: SC4002

・Easy setting, small size, 2-stage rotation speed MAX 4000RPM. ・Since it has a double structure, the inner plate can be removed. ・In order to avoid the hassle of maintenance due to clogging and at the same time provide the equipment at a low price, there is no vacuum function for fixing the workpiece. Fix the workpiece with double-sided tape, etc.

■Summary

A spin coater is a device for producing thin films from compound solutions. It is suitable for producing thin films of compounds and polymers that are difficult to form into thin films because the components decompose in vacuum evaporation equipment. To use it, set the substrate material (glass or metal) on top of the rotating body in the center. Then, a solution of a polymer or compound in a solvent is dropped onto it. When you turn on the switch and set the appropriate rotation speed, the center part will start rotating. After several tens of seconds, the solution is shaken off and forms a thin liquid film. At this time, the solvent also evaporates, resulting in the formation of a very thin film on the substrate. This device can be programmed in two stages for rotation speed and rotation time.

■Operation

・When the power is turned on, the number display on the rotation speed display lights up. ・Before use, set the acceleration/deceleration time for 1st speed and 2nd speed on the "rotation speed setting display" just once. This setting is retained even when the power is turned off. ・Before use, set the rotation duration of the 1st speed and 2nd speed using the "timer" just once. This setting is retained even when the power is turned off. -Press the "RUN" button to start rotating, and once the timer setting has elapsed, rotation will stop. ・If you want to stop the timer in the middle of the set time, press the "STOP" switch.
